teething & fever?

Is 102 an acceptable temperature for teething?
Braelyn came down with a fever again yesterday. She was acting a little sleepy and clingy yesterday, but nothing too bad. Plus, we'd had a very busy day on Saturday where she'd been exhausted, so I thought maybe yesterday she was playing catchup.
Until the fever. So, mommy readers out there, did your kids ever have 102 (rectal temp) while teething?
I'm so tired of this sickness she's been having. She was so healthy her first year and this is the second time she's had a fever since she turned one. Its not that I'm "tired" of it, I just don't want her to not feel good and I hate that she can't tell me what it is.
Any ideas?

**update** My sitter just called and Braelyn's temperature has gone up to 104. Jay is home today so he's taking her to the doctor. Please pray they can figure out what's going on.

**another update** Jay took her to the Doctor. They did bloodwork (because we wanted them to). Jay said it was horrific (his words); said it took 15 mintues for them to squeeze enough blood from her finger to have enough for the testing and the entire time she was screaming "Mama Mama Mama". I hate that I wasn't there for her. We're also collecting her pee to have it tested for a UTI. All we can do right now is treat the fever. Appreciate all the prayers.

Usually teething fevers do not run that high. There is fever virus that goes around a LOT. They run a very high fever with usually no other symptoms. Jake had to have blood work after birth because he was running a fever. Horrific does not even begin to explain it. So I feel for Jay. I would just treat the temp to help reduce the pain and discomfort. I hate it when the kiddos are sick.

I am so sorry she is sick. I can't imagine poor Jay's experience today. I just said another prayer for baby B. I love you guys and please send us an update.
