10 things about me

Cindy "tagged" me. I'm supposed to write 10 interesting things about myself. Well, I can't say all these things are necessarily interesting, but maybe a little weird, and definitely true.

1. I have a degree in Dietetics, am a certified wedding planner, and certified to teach special ed in Texas.....but I do accounting. Which is ironic b/c my math scores are the only reason I didn't graduate in the top 10% in high school.

2. I've got a thing for red bell peppers lately. I'm eating them all the time, just raw. I told my coworker that they are just like candy. She does not agree.

3. I am double jointed.

4. I make a weird face when I look at lettuce. I don't know why. Its mostly just when I look at iceberg. My face just cinches up. Always has.

5. I love the way the inside of my parents' freezer smells.

6. I cannot stand to touch newspaper. It gets expensive any time we've had to move b/c I have to wrap everything in tissue paper.

7. I don't like my papers getting wrinkled or for my notes to be messy. I can't even tell you how many times I would rewrite my lecture notes in college; and I use the most white-out at work of anyone in the company.

8. I love crossword puzzles - but only the easy ones. They relax me. I also read somewhere that doing such things help to prevent dementia. Well good for me - unless the easy ones don't count. That study could have been based on people who go for the NY Times. I buy the ones titled "easy crosswords" for ages 10 and up. :)

9. I hate road trips. LOATHE them. Its because since I was 3 we had to go on 8 hour trips to Arkansas (grandparents) at least twice a year in a station wagon loaded down with 3 kids, 2 parents, and often times a carrier thing atop the car full of Christmas gifts -which would have to be re-harnessed to the top of the station wagon at least 3 times during the 8 hour trip.

10. I'm addicted to Whole Foods but don't have the money to support the habit. I could easily spend $1000 there each week. Its absurd how much I love that store. Sprouts is good too, but there's just no real comparison.

So, now I have to tag 5 people. Okay.

I eat Whole Foods for lunch everyday! Did you know you can get soup AND a sandwich for $12 there?? I'm sure Rustin loves me lunch habit.

I know you tagged me and when the fog clears from my brain I will definitely try to remember to partake!

Your facts were far more interesting that mine. How lame am I that I didn't have 5 people to tag! LOL.
